Optional Victron Cerbo GX and VRM integration can turn a remote power enclosure into a visible, connected and more diagnosable platform.

Not every project needs it

Simple where it can be.
Visible where it needs to be.

For standard applications, a simpler protected power platform may be the right commercial answer.

For remote, high-value or difficult-to-access sites, the advanced monitored configuration provides a stronger operational picture — including remote system information, alerts and selected input or relay functions, depending on design.

Victron Cerbo GX + VRM

A remote window into
the energy platform.

Depending on connected equipment and permissions, authorised users can view solar harvest, battery information, system status and historical data through Victron Remote Management.

  • PV and battery visibility
  • Remote system status
  • Historical performance data
  • Configurable alerts and alarms
  • Remote diagnostics and management
  • Project-specific input and relay possibilities

Displayed information depends on the installed hardware, communications path, permissions and final system configuration.

Beyond monitoring

Inputs, relays and
project logic.

Input — tamper

A project-specific input can be considered for enclosure open/closed status.

Input — detector

Compatible dry-contact or interfaced signals may be monitored where appropriate.

Relay — lighting

A relay output can trigger auxiliary lighting through suitable interface hardware.

Relay — control

An additional approved function, reset or auxiliary output can be engineered.

Alerts

Important system conditions can be surfaced before equipment drops offline.

History

Operational data can help distinguish load, weather recovery, battery or communications issues.

Choose the right level

Standard platform or
advanced monitored platform.

STANDARD

Protected off-grid power

  • Project-configured solar and storage
  • PV, battery and DC circuits protected individually
  • Optional industrial communications
  • Installation-ready mechanical platform

Best where simplicity and commercial efficiency are the priorities.

ADVANCED

Connected power intelligence

  • Compatible Victron device visibility
  • VRM portal and app access
  • Alerts and remote diagnostics
  • Project-specific inputs and relay functions

Best where remote visibility and reduced diagnostic travel have value.

Remote means remote

Cellular where available.
Satellite where appropriate.

4G or 5G may be the most efficient communications path where coverage exists. For sites beyond reliable cellular service, satellite options such as Starlink can be considered.

Satellite equipment can introduce a materially higher power load, so solar generation and storage must be configured around the selected hardware and operating requirements.

Need remote visibility?

Let’s decide if it is worth it.

Tell us the location, access constraints and operational risk. We will discuss whether a standard or Cerbo GX-based platform is the better fit.
